Chewing Wax:
You don't try to pay any attention at all Queenie. You're just very self centered.

Hey, Forgive my ignorance, but when I saw Robyn in March, he sang a song I'd never heard before. In it he mentioned Syd and Roger. What was this song and where can I get a recording?

Don't underestimate the popularity of Abba or the awesome power of the Bills. Thus, the allusion to madness is entirely lost on me. And I apparently decline into a pit that has no walls and a floor that is quite slippery but has a drain in the middle. I haven't bought a RB album in ten years, I need to catch up - perhaps Voltaic would give me one for Christmas like he said he would.

Hey Ian, That would be "Forever Dressed in Cream" which Robyn and I wrote back in the early eighties. He had trouble recording it because it was too personal and reminded him of his childhood. It almost made it on "Eye" but was cut at the last moment.

News from Croydon:
Scientists are to track American smog and exhaust fumes amid fears it could
be harming people in Britain.

Forty scientists from seven British universities are to travel to the Azores in
the Atlantic today to follow a plume of poison air as it heads across the ocean.
They want to know how dangerous the pollutants are by the time they have
travelled 5,000 miles.

Dr Alastair Lewis, from the Intercontinental Transport of Ozone and
Precursors programme, said: "It's highly likely that air leaving the States
contains a cocktail of nitrogen oxides (laughing gas) and hydrocarbons, which are emitted
from vehicle exhausts and power stations. We want to know how these will
react together on the way to Europe and whether they will form ozone and
particles, both of which can be harmful to British humans."
