Chewing Wax:
Anyone heard the new Radiohead?
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 10:28:05 am)

Cushca:
Actually, yes. I was listening to it this morning.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 10:53:57 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
They've taken it back haven't they. The album. They sold those funny European types dodgy copies that had to be recalled.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:00:45 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
Tea? Chinese for tea, but Beardie's cooking. Following the advice of Yogi Kevin, I'm having a light snack when I get home. Then yoga ("feel the muscles in your hair relaxing....feel the muscles in your teeth, as light as air"), then home for Chinese food. Yum.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:01:43 am)

Chewing Wax:
Yeh, well... is it any good?
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:02:02 am)

Chewing Wax:
The radiohead I mean. That yoga. I'm not so sure. Full of live cultures isn't it?
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:02:41 am)

Chewing Wax:
I'll just go ahead and buy it then. Is that alright?
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:03:31 am)

F:
Dr. Knee-Jerk, an influential NASA climate expert's study concluded that efforts to shift to rice-farming methods where fields are drained more frequently could cut releases. Also, his team pointed to Australian research showing that changing feeding patterns or mixing certain anti- gas additives in feed for tropical cattle cut by 40 percent their release of this gas without interfering with growth. With two billion cows, sheep, and goats belching away — half of them in the tropics — there is plenty of potential to cut into the greenhouse effect, he and supporters say. With the good God what's that smell and the Oh Christ don't light that match and the ouch ouch it burns me and the hey hey hey.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:10:21 am)

Cushca:
It's not bad. It's certainly not as bad as I thought it was going to be. But I still don't like them.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:14:03 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
It's not as immediate as OK Computer.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:16:20 am)

Chewing Wax:
I'm not sure I like them either, but I think I'm supposed to like them and that's good enough for me.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:20:29 am)

Chewing Wax:
You know, trendy.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:20:38 am)

Thomas Hurlbutt:
immediate eh?
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:24:22 am)

Chewing Wax:
Who the hell is Thomas Hurlbutt?
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:25:13 am)

Cushca:
Bird, have you got OK Computer?
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:29:56 am)

Chewing Wax:
I do. I love that Paranoid Android song that Sleepy put on the tape she made for me. The one someone stole.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:30:32 am)

Chewing Wax:
Speaking of which, where's Sleepy?
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:31:02 am)

John N Howe:
John N. Howe, a third generation Kings County farmer and native of Stratford, worked previously cleaning the damns on the Snake river to make sure all the salmon don't breed, has been named to the Westlands Water District board of directors, officials announced this week. Howe replaces 'Hasbeen' Thomas Hurlbutt, who resigned in August.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:33:07 am)

Chewing Wax:
That's just nonsensical gibberish. And good too.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:34:05 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
No, I don't have it. I read a review, and that line made me laugh for some reason. And it's just exactly the kind of thing I'd never say. So I did.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:36:40 am)

Chewing Wax:
And I was fully prepared to give you all the credit.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:37:44 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
Well. That's right. The review was written by me. I read it after I wrote it.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:40:26 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
Having lied my head off all afternoon long, I'm going home. Adios, mates. Give me a ring Bird.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:40:51 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
You know, not now. Later. About this evening. You know what I mean. I'm going now. Really.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:41:05 am)

Chewing Wax:
Goodnight Mrs.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:43:02 am)

Cushca:
See you later Bird.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:47:11 am)

Cushca:
And I'll tell you something else for nothing : when I went to take OK Computer back to the shop to get my money back, the bloke behind the counter spent 10 minutes trying to convince me to keep it. He kept saying "well why not take it away again, give it another listen - I'm sure it will grow on you. Go on. It's really very good." Bastard.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:48:39 am)

Chewing Wax:
But he was right.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:52:39 am)

Cushca:
No. No he wasn't.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:54:22 am)

Chewing Wax:
It's the single best album of the 1990's and who the fuck are you to argue?
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:55:07 am)

Cushca:
I believe I swapped it for something by Lloyd Cole. Which pleased me much more.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:55:36 am)

Cushca:
And what the fuck qualifies it as the best album of the 1990's then, you music herd-following oik?
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 11:56:27 am)

Chewing Wax:
Oik? You're stinking BBC World Service told me so.
(Wed Oct 4, 2000 - 12:15:02 pm)
