Sleepy:
Excellent. Does our value increase with each new posting?
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 3:46:07 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Or decreases, depending on quality. It's all very volatile.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 3:46:48 pm)

Sleepy:
Now the pressure is on, eh?
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 3:47:39 pm)

Myk Murphy:
oh damn. now we're art. i suspect this will be valuable when the last of us has shuffled off this mortal coil. so drive safely.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 3:51:20 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Not much on us really.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 3:51:41 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Doh!
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 3:52:01 pm)

Myk Murphy:
go see laurie play.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 3:52:09 pm)

Sleepy:
I'm going out, so I can't.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 3:53:23 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Going out eh?
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 3:54:04 pm)

Sleepy:
I think so. I'm not sure when she's playing. ER's on in a minute. I like that programme again after a two year hiatus.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 3:57:08 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I never started watching it. Decoy loves it though.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 3:58:51 pm)

Sleepy:
He gave the plot away a year before I saw it. I got back into it when everyone (well, two of them) got stabbed.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:00:41 pm)

Sleepy:
See you tomorrow.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:02:29 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Night
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:02:52 pm)

Decoy:
Tomorrow's the BIG finale of ER and we find out what happens and all the intrigue and the oooooh, I won't say a word this time. I promise.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:27:35 pm)

Chewing Wax:
BIG finale. Should I watch? Will I understand?
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:29:32 pm)

Decoy:
Question is ... how do we make money from our art? Can we support anyone or all of us with a lounge-full of wit? It certainly gets funny at times. If anyone gets an audience with the Queen, or an invite to the White House, or whatever they have in Canada, Sweden and all the other places that surf us, its one for all and all for one!
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:32:42 pm)

Decoy:
I can't tell you to watch, it would give it away.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:33:24 pm)

Decoy:
I cant say anything. Peep.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:42:05 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I'll tape it and watch it in two years.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:44:58 pm)

Decoy:
Can art be aware of itself, or is that cheating?
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:54:47 pm)

Decoy:
If art was to imitate itself that may have to be so.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:55:32 pm)

Chewing Wax:
art cheating because it is imitating it's own awareness?
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 4:56:36 pm)

Decoy:
Partially, I think the real paradox is that something should not be able to define itself as art. There needs to be a purely perceptive component there, narciccistic tendencies aside.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 5:01:50 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Oh, people do it all the time. It's just sickeningly pretentious, but what can you do?
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 5:03:21 pm)

Decoy:
Mostly, I would have to ask if art is/should be allowed to modifiy itself in order to appeal to the sensibilities of its perceptors and/or itself?
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 5:04:04 pm)

Decoy:
I can think of a few examples. Good point.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 5:04:48 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Yes. I would have to agree with the art in this respect.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 5:05:01 pm)

Decoy:
Thanks.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 5:05:37 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I'm going home. Artfully mind you.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 5:05:46 pm)

Decoy:
We reserve the right to change our mind, though.
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 5:06:16 pm)

Decoy:
Lat'r mon! Ah!
(Wed May 24, 2000 - 5:06:41 pm)

Art:

You leave me out of this.
