(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:13:40 pm)

Queenie:
I finished my Classic Rawk Mix cd. Currently playing the Animals. Ever see those guys on tv when they were young? What an angry, fucking ugly bunch they were.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:14:16 pm)

(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:15:11 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I saw David Johansen do his Animals medley twice. once opening for The Who at Rich Stadium in 1982 and then again at Skidmore Fall Fest. In 1982.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:16:42 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Does that count?
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:17:16 pm)

I've seen the Beach Boys at an Indians game. They would play between games at the old doubleheaders they used to have. Or did they play after the games? I can't remember. It was oh so long ago.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:18:24 pm)

Queenie:
We used to have a beach boys 8 track tape. I remember sitting and staring at the tiny cover art for hours.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:19:08 pm)

Chewing Wax:
The Medley. It was good, except he wore these horrible pink pants at both shows. I was more judgmental back then.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:19:46 pm)

Queenie:
Ha ha! That's the one!

(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:20:06 pm)

Oh god, Doubleday is launching this new imprint for black authors called Harlem Moon and I'm looking through the magazine to launch the imprint which is a compilation of stories from the authors. There is this Hip Hopptionary. It is so stupid! Bless the mic: offer great rap. Blick: bad situation. Blinked out: went crazy. bite/bitin/biter: copycat.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:21:50 pm)

bela:
bitch-ass-niggas: passive or fearful persons.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:22:32 pm)

(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:23:20 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Beach Boys come here every single stinking summer and play after a Bisons game. They wheel Brian Wilson out and he waves a bit. It's great.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:23:21 pm)

bela:
Well, a black guy wrote it. His name is Alonzo Westbrook.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:23:54 pm)

Queenie:
That's sad.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:24:00 pm)

Queenie:
The Brian Wilson thing is sad, I mean. The Hip Hopptionary thing is just embarrassing.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:24:17 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I'm just kidding. Wilson doesn't tour with them.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:24:32 pm)

Queenie:
Talkin' bout very free and easyyyyyy
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:24:42 pm)

Heruka:
they still play at those games? I think the Indians did away with them when the new ballparl was built. Or sooner.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:25:11 pm)

Queenie:
A black guy wrote it? Well that just doesn't make a lick of sense.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:25:21 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Yep. They still play.
(Thu Apr 11, 2002 - 3:25:32 pm)
