That's odd. A wooden sailboat that I can get for basically free is not what it appears to be. It ooks like a Herreshoff or an Alden or a similiar design, but I've been tracking it for the last couple of months, and the latest info I have is that it's a 1946 "bluenose schooner". It's a cutter, not a schooner. It's only approz 24 foot in length. Maybe homemade. And the guy just felt like registering it like that. The plot thickens.

When I was looking for a wood boat I came across it. It's got a single mast, and is tiller steered. Not a good cruiser. Net boat though. I now have the last know owners name and address. A women owns it. I bet it was her husbands, and she inherited it after his death. It's behind a fence, and I couldn't find anyone who knows anything about it. I'm scared to call her.
