yeah, those ravens plucked 'em good. a qb controversy in week 1 kinda feels like our local team. but all that is a mere distraction in comparison to Florence, the evil hurricane. she is taking a path that's really odd. tell your family in the carolinas to get somewhere high and dry, wax. this could be a slow moving soaker.

yes, this weekend the littlest murphy mentioned a few friends who were going to get a day off school this week, and so she said (to those friends) that she wanted to be jewish to not only get an extra day off school here and there, but also to get presents over multiple days in december. her jewish friends, however, suggested that the grass is greener over in christendom, where you get a ton of presents in one big event. they thought that was a lot better.
