Are the only options Dem talking points? You make me want to throw cocktail ice at you. Anyway - she did a great job, she restored the position's legitimacy, and she deserves an upgrade. Imagine dealing with the UN miscreants all day long? Ugh. They'll probably slide Lindsey Graham over to AG after the election and the SC Governor will appoint her Senator. She'll be unbeatable until she runs for President, which she will win too. I could see her doing a two woman ticket; how cool would that be?

these are dem talking points? gosh (as he ducks the ice ..nice touch).. they kinda seem like obvious to rather obvious conclusions. insiders say that the move was a big surprise in the white house, so this is not administration-driven. or if it was, it was very closely held. another conclusion.. er, dem talking point... is that she wants to hit the private sector a bit to make some money. a sensible move, too.
as for her ability to get elected, you're absolutely right. she was somehow able to balance all factions of the GOP. and she's smart: not talking ill of the boss on her way out. letting him act like it was planned. it's smooth.
