we've got a similar gale thing going on.. especially last night when i was driving through the remnants of the hurricane. thankfully our area was mostly spared.
and a good morning to you, cushca. big weekend plans? we're headed to the shore. maybe we'll fly the little murphy's mini drone now that the beach is empty. it takes cool photos.

i pushed around some leaves this week. they pushed back, but ultimately relented. the winds will bring more, making it appear that i did nothing.

for leaves, i have a really good rake, but i also use an electric leaf blower that is good in some circumstances.

Wax is insistent that snow is not in the forecast. As for lead blowers, they are annoying in that they are noisy, but they can move a great deal of leaves if they are dry. Wet leaves don't behave nearly as well. Gas leaf blowers are better but really noisy and bad for the environment. If you want to enjoy your yard, use a rake.
