Snow! Over a half foot so far, and we have another 9 hours or so to go. And we saved a runaway dog that just wanted to play. Sledding conditions are excellent.

i thought it was cold this morning, but then i recalled my phone call yesterday with a friend in chicago. i no longer consider dc to be cold. that is all.

i couldn't help myself. i had to tune in and watch the impeachment proceedings. the GOP folks are in a tough situation, as they need to dodge the timeline of events to stitch together a narrative of "don't worry, ukraine got their cash aid, the bidens never got investigated, so the prez did nothing wrong." ..willfully if not skillfully ignoring the basics publicly known. also, they appear to be battling obama and clinton, as if they were in the room. to their credit, they have very little room to move, given trump and giuliani outbursts thus far.
