Quiet week. Two nights ago I went out to the shore to get an estimate on some work to be done. So many emotions. Mostly amusement, laughing at myself and my naivete for imagining that the price would be within reason. I value quality work, but my oh my I didn't realize what I would hear. Last night I drove home, enjoying a lovely sunset on the Chesapeake Bay bridge, still chuckling at my hubris.
