Dear Joe, Your last posting put me in an inquisitive mood. What was my favourite church, you asked. Good question. Unfortunately, I was rather confused by it. Do you mean my favourite Church(the band) album, or did you mean the more obvious...a house of God? Well, to answer the first interpretation of your question, I must confess, I care not for the Church. And for the second interpretation, I must confess, I care not for the church.

it's always fun to hop on and see what was written in one's name, nearly. i like that lamentation of lost love below, and in an odd way, i wish i had written it, and wish it to be true. JOE: i forgot to mention to you what a big Church fan i am. the first church album i ever heard was 1985's "heyday", which is still my favorite to this day, all sentimentality aside (well, MOST of it aside). "disenchanted" is their best song, i believe. but enough of my foolishness... it's time for bed, and soon our UK friends will populate this board with thoughtfulness and wit!

Today I suffered a tragic loss, no not the loss of a friend a or even a mere acquaintance. Today I suffered the loss of a dream a fantasy really.Today I found out that the girl my first childhood crush was bestowed upon is getting married. I know this is not logical for I have not seen her in 16 years, but she kept haunting me all this time. Something kept me thinking about her, I still remember whole occasions that we spent together. The way she laughed, the way she partially turned her head when she rolled her eyes, her soft voice, even the way she would stand and spin on one foot. Today my heart was broken, I'm happy for her I am. Perhaps it was for the best, its time I let her go and stop dreaming about her. To Kathleen O'Leary may you have a most wonderful and joyous life. I will always love you.

I, on the other hand have looked at the facts, and I see that we are in trouble. I believe we can help ourselves. I am not waiting for the apocalypse, or the Earth's cleansing, nor am I going to resign myself to hopelessly wait for salvation. I believe that the common person can open a portal using the Earth's grid system that was set by ETs long ago. They could teach us how to manage our Earth. They could help us break down the ignorance and rampant corruption that is causing damage to our Earth. They could help us ward off the malevolent aliens, and those in government who made the first contract with them. The stargate empowers the common person so that we can have hope for the coming millennium. I am currently reading, Anti-Gravity & The World Grid edited by David Hatcher Childress on the topic of vortexes and grids.

The last time I saw him he played I Often Dream of Trains and Airscape, which I'd never heard him play before. Just one of them would have made my life. Both was absolutely incredible. I saw Roger Waters third row for Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking and Radio Chaos. I thought those were the best I'd ever see, but that last show with Robyn eclipsed them. I smiled for two weeks.

That's what I figured. I heard that a lot of it was actually filmed on a sound stage in L.A. You can take the shows out of Hollywood but... I suspect Robyn is very partial to Madonna of the Wasps. But there was a guy who had a house in town that he converted into a theatre. Him and his wife were kind of hippie types, with incense burning in the lobby and everything. They played one movie at a time and we went there just to get out of the heat. We saw "It Could Happen To You." Anyway, this guy was a huge Marlon Brando fan so he painted a mural that took up the entire side of his two story house of a young, "Streetcar" Marlon Brando. The guys that made the TV show would cover it up with a giant, house-sized canvas every time they filmed. I don't know why. The people that owned that theatre were like real-life Sicely, Alaska types.

Satan even learns something sometimes about playing with fire; Queenie reveals by her messages just prior to her claim of non-innocence that she is indeed naive; the cast of regulars are duped by someone over the course of what, about 12 hours, who posts messages as various others, demonstrating all of the following: 1) an enviable amount of free time; 2) a malevolent streak that made Satan green (almost, kind of orange) with envy; 3) a complete recall of every posting ever made by voltaic and all of his various personalities--an even more amazing--a seemingly mind-worm's view of voltaic's motives (no, CW, I am not at all admitting to be the Other); 4) a love of William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin's cut-up method; and finally, 5) an even less spiritual/moral center than his Satanic Majesty. This, my friends, was an anarchist's kitchen yesterday. My hats off to that individual...not only did he create more confusion than I ever did; he managed to convey the kind of hatred and truly vicious vibe from which even the Dark Prince himself recoils.

What a depressing pile of kak. There is only one *. * posted on Thursday and Thursday only, even though another person then added extra * postings. * is empathetic and kind. * was having a little bit of a joke on anon - no more, no less and it was hoped that this would be taken in the spirit of which it was intended. * was not looking for trouble and an oilslick of nastiness but still the oil laps around the shores.

From: Kimmylu Does anyone here actually talk about Robyn Hitchc--k? He's quite a nice fellow--met him once. He actually owes me a pack of cigarettes, but I genuinely hope he's given them up.

I'd like to respond to so much that's been put out here the last few days, but I'll save it for the chat, except for a few bits - Joe (on a non-Hitchc--k item): Wind in the Willows is out in LA - we saw it last week. Of course, it's geared towards the kiddies, so one wouldn't expect it to be extremely like Python. It was lovely, visually, and there WERE a (very) few MP-ish quips. The weasels were exceptionally well portrayed! : 0 . . . /I heard RH wanted to do a remake of Roxy's "Avalon" a la his Dylan project. We say "Go For It", Uncle Bob! / Griffith - Thank you! and bless the Hitchc--kian-Gods-That-Be that he's not playing the 8th when I'm in Whittier! For those of you tuning in late, I'll do my public service/fan board duty: Robyn will be playing at Largos in LA (or is that Hollywood, properly?) on Fairfax Ave on Sat--day, November 15th - doors open at 8, and I was told he starts playing at 9.

---YOW! Yesterday was one of the wildest battles yet. Really, I was so exhausted after reading it all, I couldn't even post (yeah, tears all 'round. . .). Voltaic (or whomEVER)'s jabbing with a verbal pointy stick to stir things up a bit is. . . . well, WEIRD. A few times, okay, but yesterday was a bit much. Sorry to see even Queenie start fretting today - I've admired her wise approach: IGNORE it, and stay the playful/interesting chatter you are. Q., I loved how you got everyone reminiscing on RH so sweetly-it was yesterday's saving grace!

Cut it out, I'm getting very confused. I got into this on the premise that this was an obscure if not geeky message board. "You're right..you're right. ...I was looking forward to chatting about Robyn H. today. I'll come back when it's the Robyn Hitchock message board instead of the Nasty Pretentious Weirdos Who Try To Out-Clever Each Other With Strange Ramblings and Cryptic Postings message board " - "WHAT'S ALL THIS THEN????" (name that quote) I hope to see the players at chat at 11am EST on sunday. Tragic obligations at work have prevented me from be present at the last - hmmmm... 6 archives or so. (That's hyperbolic - exaggeration for effect). After a long, nasty week of work and moving our corporate offices, through which I was offline, and the results of which move will be that my proxy server will be rebuilt, I have returned to be utterly confused; I need a chat session to sort things out. Perhaps Myk can prepare a synopsis? I would appreciate that. Love and hugs, Decoy.
